Systemair at Roomvent 2024: Advancing Governance, Monitoring, and Inclusivity in Indoor Air Quality

Systemair will gather a group of international experts for a special keynote address by Dr. Iyad Al-Attar, along with a high-level panel discussion titled  “IAQ by Design, Not Demand: Cultivating Healthy Indoor Air as a Cornerstone of the Built Environment”

Systemair is proud to be one of the main sponsors of Roomvent 2024, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, from 22 to 24 April 2024. Under the theme "Healthy Air Together," Systemair is excited to host a dynamic roster of global experts to foster legal and structural advancements for worldwide recognition of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

Keynote Highlight: “No one can expect extraordinary air quality from ordinary ventilation systems.”

One of the standout events at the conference is the Systemair keynote address by Dr. Iyad Al-Attar, Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University, scheduled for 23 April from 13:20 to 13:50. Dr. Al-Attar will explore significant IAQ challenges and advocate for innovative ventilation solutions designed to strengthen buildings against future health threats.

Panel: “IAQ by Design, Not Demand: Cultivating Healthy Indoor Air as a Cornerstone of the Built Environment.”

Following a session titled 'Back to Basic Principles,' our expert panel will delve into IAQ governance, monitoring, inclusivity, and sensitivity. This discussion will take place right after our keynote on 23 April from 14:00 to 14:40. The focus will be on concrete measures that stakeholders, including public authorities, HVAC manufacturers, trade associations, consultants, and certifiers, need to implement to raise IAQ to a globally recognised and legally endorsed standard. Chaired by Morten Schmelzer, who leads Group Public Affairs at Systemair, our panel comprises diverse experts across the HVAC value chain.
