REHVA President, Catalin Lungu, and REHVA Policy and Advocacy Officer, Francesco Robimarga, were present this week at EuroHeat & Power

The Euroheat & Power Congress is Euroheat & Power flagship business event. It offers exclusive, high-level perspectives on legislation, business models, technology and market developments shaping the district heating and cooling industry. It brings together over 450 business executives, more than 30 exhibitors, 60+ speakers and local authority representatives from all over Europe.

The EuroHeat and Power Annual Congress featured various panels, sessions, and workshops. The opening session, "Scale up, CO2 down," addressed the further steps needed to achieve the Fit for 55 EU objectives, particularly focusing on the decarbonisation of buildings. Special attention was also given to the anticipated political changes driven by the upcoming European Parliament elections. Among many notable sessions, the "From zero to (green) hero. Financing a true heating transition" session highlighted the importance of funding schemes that allocate resources to green assets and facilitate the genuine transition of highly polluting fossil fuel-based heating systems and inefficient building stock.
