The organizers of the Building Simulation Conference in 2021 (BS2021), taking place in Bruges (Belgium), are inviting all practitioners and industry partners to submit a project or valorization sheet. These are aimed at reporting good practice in simulation from real life examples and succesful or advanced application of simulation tools. Please note that this kind of submission does not require the submission of a full paper. Only an extended abstract of two pages is requested. BS2021 thus aims at bringing qualitative use of simulations more widespread to the practice of architects, engineers and industry by bringing them together with research and development, and attracted over 1000 attendees in the 2019 edition. Day one of the conference is dedicated to this cross-fertilization, and we welcome registrations for this single day from the field.

The Building Simulation Conference is a Conference organised by the International Building Performance Simulation Association, taking place every two years.

For the BS2021, the aim is to create an impact by translating research results into practice. Bridging the gap between academics and practitioners is key, with special focus on day one, the impact day, where research and practice will intensively interact.
